Aachi passed away on Sunday. Life goes on. 😦

Rest in Peace aachi. You had a good life. It is good that you didn’t suffer much. You got up, brushed your teeth, had your morning coffee, and went back to sleep, never to wake up. What a good way to go. Rest in peace Aachi.

As we get older, our familiar old ones leave us and go away.
As brave as we are, it still makes us children again. We miss the security and reassurance, and most of all the caring. Even though frail, their spirit was so dominant, it made them seem unbeatable, enormous.
My grandmother died in 2009, she was in her 90’s.
Her one tragedy among many horrible misfortunes in her young years was the loss of my father when she was in her 80th year. Battered by that, she still rose up and moved on.
    No drama.
I miss her, terribly sometimes. I am sure you have many such memories in your life as well.
    Hugs Prema,
