back home

Just back home. Happy to be here and yet not so happy to be back. Not because I lurve India so much. Happy to have escaped from the dehydrating places which dehydrated my baby badly. She is fine now. Happy to have escaped from the labour inducing roads. Not happy to have left the lovely time Muffin had. It is sad that Muffin may not remember any of it. I guess it is worth the torture Muffin’s mother goes through that we might make it as a regular programme once a year or once in two years or whatever the interval it is going to be. It was worth the visit just for that chevaththa puliyangaa alone or that melakkoil festival alone. thanks to my lil bro who insisted that I join him to melakkoil.

Couldn’t wait to be back but feels should have spent the rest of this boring pregnancy period as well there in Kombai instead of counting days so boringly sitting in my lounge painfully watching my active child spend her day watching TV mostly.  struggling to walk and take the crying baby out who shows the pain of having to live life confined within that little lounge of mine. struggling to carry the huger than the huge tummy I had during my previous pregnancy.

Mother is here with me and we both are here with huge changes in both of us. Hopefully this time we both have good time with each other.

Will have to start worrying about the pregnancy now. I am 25 weeks now.

And don’t worry about Muffin and the TV – one of the positives of TV (especially decent channels like CBeebies) is that it encourages the toddler to concentrate more. Can your mum play with her / take her out more so she’s not stuck in the house or can you get a childminder for her for half days just so you can relax and she can be active?

I love CBeebies too, but no tv is match for the fun she had in kombai. she loved running around, playing car races with other boys, playing pamporam and more. anyway, she is not active today as she is down with diarrhea and lying down mostly. hopefully she will be alright soon. my mom is not accustomed to the cold yet. so they both are lying down mostly.
