The change is coming

When someone says that they raise their girl like a boy, don’t they acknowledge that boys are superior than girls? Why does a girl have to be raised like a boy? I do not like parents of boys who take pride in their boys disliking “girly” things either. Today I was so pleased to see a teenage boy wearing pink jumper and pink tie and looking so cool and trendy.

Yes, I wonder what they mean when they say they are raising their girls like boys…does it mean they are now giving the girls opportunities earlier only given to boys?

Ra, right way of saying it would be “I am raising my girl like how girls should be raised”, if they meant giving opportunities to girls earlier only given to boys. but many who say, “I am raising my girl like a boy” mostly mean that they dress up their girl like a boy, give them toys which are boy-toys (cars etc.), make them play with boys and so on, most importantly look down on other girls. when these boy-like-girls grow up, they talk about cricket, politics, drive cars fast and call themselves intellectuals which imply boys are intellectuals and girls are dumbos. The idea is basically passed down by the parents. Doesn’t the whole idea mean insult to the mother herself?
