What Women want – I

Care. as simple as that. show them you care, that’s all they want. Women are idiots in general, however educated they are, however intelligent they believe they are, They ARE idiots. It is very simple and easy to please them or cheat them.

Let us see. You walk past that florist everyday; she has an irresistable smile, you want to flirt, you stop there, flirt with her, and buy a bunch. “What is that you have bought flower today? how much is it?” “Honey, whenever I cross the flower shop, all those flowers fresh and smiling remind me of your face, and I couldn’t walk past it today. I have bought a bunch, I don’t know whether these are your favourites, as all flowers are fresh and smiling with your face on it, they look same to me. Hope you like them”. However cinematic your lines are, however obvious your lines are she will like it. “how much?” “don’t remember honey”. “You waste all the money, don’t know anything about family finances. all the time spend money on something and come home and lie to me”. Secretly, she still is on the top of the world, happy about that bunch of flowers her husband bought for her, without even noticing how much it was. Her “buddhu”, simple-headed hunsband doesn’t know anything, she thinks.

Next level would be that you really buy flowers, which are on clearance sale (this is what Balan does, well, last time, it was six months ago). You cannot flirt with the florist when you are buying these clearence sale bunches. she will want to burn you down, if only she had the third eye (lord Shiva’s), because you walked past her all the time when those flowers were fresh and for full price, but now you are buying them when she has marked it for clearance with her broken heart. Go home give your wife saying that you remembered that she liked flowers. or even with those same cinematic lines or whatever. It still works for women. Some swearing words might come for bringing dying flowers and being stingy about money, but still it brings smile on her face and you have made her day.

Next level (there may be few more levels, women readers, please feel free to add) would be buying good flowers indeed for your wife.

Next level would be remembering her favourite flowers.

Next level would be buying flowers in co-ordination with her vase.

Next level would be remembering to make sure to add her favourite flower when the bunch is colour co-ordinated with her favourite vase.

Next level would be remember the colour of your lounge or wood colour of your dining table where the vase normally sits and asking the florist to prepare the bunch so that it goes with that, and include her favourie as well.

Next level would be going to a special florist shop which is not on your regular route, but you choose this shop because she/he arranges flowers divinly…

Simple, making any effort to please her, pleases her. That is the mantram. Unlike the myth men use to complain about women, the truth is, women do not have many preferences. Any colour, any flower anything will please her, as long as you convey her that your intention is to please her.

Next level would be, not conveying all those efforts you made, but she finds out herself,… wow. If you did that (not conveying, and her finding out) unintentionally, it pleases you too (this is you, the man).

(will be continued.)

I once read this story where this old lady tell a young girl that real romance is a man who gets up in the middle of the night to get you socks when your feet are cold.

    Yes, it’s all about caring.

    Nice one, prema!

ok .. but i dont like the idea of flowers as gift … but you are right about the ‘care’ thing. it moves me when someone remembers a tiny detail about insignificant me.

no sympathy for men? lol .
