Why do educated people choose to turn blind eye or selective “feminism”/blind eye towards feminism in the name of “smooth family life”? I am just bewildered! Don’t they (both men and women, mainly men in most cases and mainly women when they are selectively “feminists”) feel ashamed? feminism after all asks people to understand that women are no different from men! In every aspect I mean.

There’s a man & WOMAN I know, who brought up their daughter confident and bold enough to lead her life on her own, but shove ‘this is how a girl should behave’ shit onto their daughter in law. I know, it is shitty. But it exists!

Hi, delurking for the first time on your blog… just to add my two cents.
Does feminism mean asking people to understand that women are no different from men? I’ve always thought it to mean that men and women should be treated as equals with all rights and privileges – although they were different from each other.
